he psychological is purposely placed in the middle.
We humans, like all creatures, live in our physical bodies and exist in some larger world. Central to our experience as humans, however, is our vast inner world of thoughts and emotions, and the complex interactions between these.
When our thoughts and emotions are wonderful, we remember these. Conversely, when our thoughts, feelings and memories are disturbing we forget, hiding them from ourselves. To truly understand ourselves we must look deeper.
