rue healing  begins when we turn towards the troubles before us.

It’s no fun, but the only way to get past our troubles is to engage them. Our troubles are here for a reason; they’re inviting us, demanding of us, to attend to ‘what’s wrong’.

Engaging our troubles – going into the thoughts, the feelings and developing the storyline of ‘what’s wrong’ – is hard work. There are no shortcuts. It is this hard work that allows us to emerge on the other side, to become alright.

In the end we may come to realize that we are truly ‘all right’.
